BHP1
I'm about ready to spring for a 60cx, but the reports of the sat signal "wandering", causing inaccuracies with the trip computer and making the map jump around while hiking, have me concerned. Is this really a consistent and widespread problem, does it just happen on occasion with some units and not others?? I use my 60c mainly for hiking and backcountry fishing, and a unit that will get better reception in the woods would be nice, so I'm hoping that this isn't a serious problem. If it is, hopefully the first firmware upgrade would fix it. Thanks! Edited February 11, 2006 by BHP1 Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
My 60Cx is doing a better job on the trails, than the older 60C of mine. As long as you hold it up close to vertical, with a good view of the sky, it should give an accurate Tracklog. I had seen the wandering effect on my 60Cx, but it still is better than the 60C. - Geoff Quote Link to comment
