+The Leprechauns
48 to 1 and proud of it. I have around 29 active caches out of 33 total, and it seems like there's always something to take care of. Last weekend I drove around prior to the Super Bowl and did maintenance on three of my caches. Priorities, you know. I would not want to hide more caches than I can reasonably maintain. Also I have a zero hides, zero finds account. But that account has archived more than 1500 caches. I think I will go start a flame thread in the GC.com forum to get that added to my stats banner. It's all about the numbers, you know. Quote Link to comment

Oh no, we don't need a competition between the reviewers over who has archived the most caches You're assuming that we don't already have such a competition. Hmmm, the super-secret reviewer version of grand hi pobah tells me that I'm only 17 archive notes away from taking over third place worldwide. Now if I could just find someone with 17 active caches, I could take care of them in one fell swoop... Quote Link to comment

+TeamStuckey
6.5 to 1 I was hiding quite a few for awhile, but some local whiners caused me to stop. I figured why bother with the abuse when I can just spend my time finding rather than hiding. Quote Link to comment
salmoned
My ideal is 50 to 1, but I'm currently running behind by 1 hide (I also count 'adopted' caches as hides). Quote Link to comment
+VENTUREMAN7/ "A" TEAM"
5.75 TO 1 And very proud of it also! I'm very lucky in my area of Nebraska, we have very active cachers who are also cache hiders. Most of the cachers with alot of finds also have hidden their fair share of caches for the rest of us to find. Keep hiding them and we all will continue the "Race" for FTF!! +edscott
53.2:1 and no apologies. There is a maximum number of quality caches that any person can maintain. There is no maximum to the number that you can find. I feel quality is far superior to quantity. Quote Link to comment
+Blucruz
I'm 23:1 with 676 finds & 30 hides but there is a guy in our area (retiredprof) that is around 7:1 with over 1400 finds & over 200 hides. Quote Link to comment

+yogiabb
Actual: 25:1 (301 finds, 12 hides) 30:1 is about right for me. It seems around here the finds per month per cache level out at around 30. Plus it is getting to the point where cache maintenance on muggled or damaged hides is taking a big % of time. +AMMOMAN
Mine is currently at 13.4 to 1 overall. (523 found/39 Hide) However looking at my active caches, my ratio changes to 20 to 1 (523 found/26 Active) Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
87:1 (2611/33-3events) So-what's your point? I like to find caches, I like it a lot. I'm pickier about what I will hide than what I will find. And yes it IS all about the numbers. #finds>#posts Edited February 11, 2006 by wimseyguy Quote Link to comment

+dykediva
I thought 10:1 would be a good one so we are using that as a bench mark. . .we just hit 70 so its time to hide our 7th. As we log more finds it might not be do-able. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
0.96% Or 25.8 : 1. I wanted to keep it at 1% or better, but that's getting increasingly difficult. Quote Link to comment
+Rattlingcrew
I was trying to hide one for every ten found. When I hit 700 finds, it bacame obvious that caring for 70 caches was getting to be a chore. I have 80 out now, but have left the ten finds to one hide in the sunset. Glen Quote Link to comment
