Some thoughts on symbiosis:

In your CITO planning, don't forget to look around you for resources. There are other groups out there that are ready and willing to help you in your clean up efforts! They'd probably love to hear from you since you know of a location that needs to be cleaned up and they (for example) are likely looking for a project to help with. ( i.e. you can help one another )

One example is your local 4WD drive group. They can help you clean up larger, heavier items like engine blocks and full-sized refrigerators that are at the bottom of a nasty hill, right next to that ammo can you hiked out there for. That's because many 4WD enthusiasts have low gearing and winches attached to their vehicles.

Here are a few places that can help you find these folks:

United Four Wheel Drive Associations http://www.ufwda.org

BlueRibbon Coalition Website http://www.sharetrails.org/

North American XJ Association http://www.naxja.org
