+Razak Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Being an old school gamer that I am I'm interested in knowing where arcades are these days given how few of them are left. This would be in Places>Entertainment. I would also include PC Bangs into this category as I think these are just kind of modern arcades anyway. However those icky arcades that are inthe corner of bowling alleys and movie theaters need not apply, this would be for places mostly dedicated to games. Anyone else interested in this type of category? Link to comment

The days of my childhood when one would have to go to an arcade to play the classic video games, that by today's standards are lame. I'd love to visit places like this! A superb idea, indeed! Yeah they don't quite look like that anymore for the most part but they are still out there (Dance Dance Revolution is arcade and looks nothing like the old arcades obviously). As for the skee-ball places that one is difficult... obviously no chucky cheese... but alot of the old school arcades have added some of those type of things on the side in hopes of drawing people in...
