hameed
Which one of these units would you buy (they cost roughly the same brand new on ebay) - the Lowrance iWAY 350C or the Garmin IQUE M3? I am specifically referring to the Navigation functionality of both systems. Which one is better overall. Pros and cons of each? I have narrowed down my choices to both of these units as a first time GPS potential owner, but just wanted to get some feedback from some veteran GPS owners before I take the plunge and buy one. +GeckoGeek
I know zip about the Lowrance but I think the Garmin would be better supported by 3rd party software. Quote Link to comment
hameed
Ok thanks guys, I guess I know what I need to buy then. One thing I have noticed about these types of portable GPS units is that POI's is very very small compared to units such as the Pioneer AVIC-88DVD or AVIC-N1 which have about 12 million POI's Is this strictly a limitation of the storage space on the portable units? Is it possible to have upto 12 million POI's with enough data storage on the portable units? Of course this also means that the map data that you can download to the Garmin for instance does have 12 million POI's in the first place. Please let me know. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
