If it has a travel-bug type number on it, check it out on the travel bug section. Do what it says. Without any instructions, it is your choice. Whether trackable or not. Quote Link to comment

+WeatherednBoston
If the coin was left in your cache called "Kapahi Resevoir"...it looks as if It was a gift to you. Someone wrote in the logs they left you a gift! I would too if I was in Hawaii and got a FTF! Quote Link to comment

ParentsofSAM
Yes you can activate it place it out to travel around just like a travel bug or you can keep it and start a collection. Just be aware that if you send it our into the world it may get stolen, I know its terrible but it does happen. Congrats on getting your first geocoin!! Quote Link to comment

Some people collect geocoins. (hopefully only bought or gifted and not stolen travellers) Some (too few) release them into the wild just like TBs (best to attach some note with it stating it is a traveller and not a trade item) Some do both.
