+Dr. Boggis
We're going to Park City in a week or so for snowboarding, and maybe a bit of caching. Are there any good caches accessible in the winter - on the slopes if possible? We won't have a car after the first day, so only stuff on the shuttle route or at PCMR or The Canyons will be options. Well, Park City was rubbish for caching. The webcam in town is out of action, there weren't any accessible caches on the slopes served by ski lifts, and the ones we looked for in the snow were totally buried and not suitable for winter caching! My advice is don't bother Still, at least the snow and the snowboarding were great! Quote Link to comment
+Apollo18
I had the same problem at Brighton in Jan. Great snowboarding (yeah I know such a problem to have) and burried caches Quote Link to comment
+phoenix-rose
Park City is pretty touristy so the caches tend to be not so great, IMHO. However, Caching in the Salt Lake Valley is pretty good - downtown/capitol hill area if you're looking for zip codes - would be 84103, 84104 to get you started. Also, if you're looking for people here in Utah, we're a great bunch - you might pop into the Utah geocachers group at: www.Utahgeocachers.com for other suggestions on things to find. ~Rose Quote Link to comment
