+alienscape
What I really want to know, is how much of an advantage does the 60Cx have over the Legend Cx since it has the SIRF chip? Also, where can I find these for the cheapest price? Quote Link to comment
+krisse
http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=121302 - There you go. All prices are maintained by Garmin so there is only one 'cheapest' price, which is, unfortunately, also the most expensive one. Quote Link to comment
+Whittling Fisher
I haven't had the chance to use a Legend Cx yet, but from what I understand the 60Cx with the Sirf chip with pick up satellites quicker and will be able to pick up more satellites in situations like urban canyons and tree cover. I have been playing around with my 60csx and noticed that it is able to pick up satellites very quickly and maintains a lock even when I go back inside my house. However, as far as accuracy in open situations, both units will probably be about the same. I average about 6-15 feet with 60csx, and use to get about 15-20 with an old yellow etrex. Hope this helps some. Quote Link to comment
