2006 Midwest Geobash

If you are going to use simplex, is there any reason not to use the national simplex frequency (146.52 MHz)? I am just curious. I've never actually done anything on simplex, we have so many repeaters around us in San Jose.

Good Evening everyone,

Since we are now under 90 days to the 2006 Midwest GeoBash(GCRZZQ) , I thought that I would ask to see who might be going to this GeoCache event. I think that it would a cool idea if we could get a nigtly net going or even just a rag-chew session going.

So if anyone is going and has any ideas about it, let me know and we will see what we can do. Maybe we can get some of the public envolved in it.

Good Mornig All,

With less than 14 days till the 2006 Midwest GeoBash , I was wandering if anyone is plaining to attend this Mega Event? I will be there from July 7th and camping till Sunday the 9th.

If anyone is interested, I will be monitoring 146.580 simplex or if someone has a better freq, we could use as the event freq and have some while caching.

Hope to see you at the event or hear you on the air.
