+Mi-Bowhunter
I recently installed city select into my 60c, I have found that after I installed it I cannot mark a cache when I find it. Is there something I am doing wrong or does it disable that function when you enter maps ?? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
Uploading maps shouldn't disable any features. What behavior are you seeing? Quote Link to comment
+ricstone
same here. when navigating on the maps to a cache,it does not go to the cache compass,so you cant market it as found. what am i doing wrong? i think that is what MI-BOWHUNTER is also saying. Quote Link to comment
+Mi-Bowhunter
thats it, on the compass feature you used to be able to mark cache as found but now cant and why ??? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Les Nomades
When you arrive near the cache, I think you must ask to recalculate and make sure you choose "off road" so it changes to the compass page. At least, thats what I have to do with my LegendC. Edited January 22, 2006 by Nomade Quote Link to comment
+Mi-Bowhunter
when I hit the menu when I arrive I can recalculate but do not get prompted to go off road??????? I am going to try it but just incase I guess if all else fails call Garmin Is anyone else having this issue?? Quote Link to comment

You have to go in the routing menu (setup - routing) and choose "prompt" in order for the GPS to ask if you wanna recalculate "off road" or "follow road". Otherwise, you have to go to the routing menu to change it manually every time. Edited January 22, 2006 by Nomade Quote Link to comment

+Mi-Bowhunter
I am heading out right now to give it a try Hope this works, if so I will post updates... Thanks Quote Link to comment

In order to get the compass, it really has to recalculate off road. The only choice you have is to have it prompt you or go to the routing menu and change it manually PS: good luck Edited January 22, 2006 by Nomade Quote Link to comment
