Keystone Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Hello, I am guessing that you're referring to your one cache that you archived, but then it got found again, so now you want it unarchived. I see you left a "note to reviewer" on the cache page a few days ago, asking for this. Please be advised that no copy of a "note to reviewer" gets sent automatically to the reviewer or to anyone else other than the cache owner and anyone on a watchlist or bookmark list. Also, please forward your inquiry to the contact at geocaching.com e-mail address, so that it can be routed to the Groundspeak volunteer cache reviewer with responsibility for fulfilling your service request. Happy caching! Quote
+Udink Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 (edited) Please be advised that no copy of a "note to reviewer" gets sent automatically to the reviewer Really? This goes against all logic. I probably would have emailed the reviewer directly through his/her profile, but still, I would expect the "Post Reviewer Note" log type to be different from the "Write Note" log type. Apparently it's not. Thanks for the heads-up. Edited January 21, 2006 by Udink Quote

Apparently it's not. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm guessing that there is no way to specify which reviewer gets these notes. Sending out a blanket note to each reviewer every time someone logs a "note to reviewer" will only fill up everyone's mailboxes and make it tough for them to figure out which ones need their attention. +Mopar Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 What's that about personal attacks in the forums? Quote

Hmm...this may possibly be the case. However, when I'm logged into Geocaching.com and view one of my own cache listings, it shows the approver name at the bottom of the page, below the logs. When I'm logged out, I cannot see this on my own cache pages, and I've never seen it on a listing that I do not personally own. It would seem that the approver name is tied to the cache page somehow through the database, but I can now see how that might not be useful in all cases, as UtahAdmin is the approver name on all of my caches.
