+SketchySmurf
Curious, looks like they knocked the SRP down to $482. Quote Link to comment
+Creakhead
I think you were looking at the 60Cx and not the 60CSx, as my browser still says $535.70 U.S.D. for the csx http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap60csx/ Quote Link to comment
moonpup
Funny how us early adopters always get burned Either way I am loving my 60CSx with it's new 512MB transflash card! Quote Link to comment
Budbrew
Yeah what the hell is up with that, it was at $535 before. I guess everyone who paid $499 overpaid for there 60CSX! Quote Link to comment
Budbrew
Nevermind there is a problem with one of there links that for some reason sends you to the Cx instead of the CSx. Quote Link to comment

But weird thing is, on their home page, if you click on the CSx, it takes you to the Cx page. That's what confused me. It's still $535. Quote Link to comment
+OxygenDestroyer
the prices do seem to move a lot - happy with my cs for now but I'm definitely looking forward to some in-depth reviews after the new units have been out for a couple of months - then after some major price drops I might take the plunge. Budbrew
$412 Dollars at www.lakepowelldiscountmarineelectronics.com is enough of a plunge for me. I don't see prices dropping much lower any time soon. Quote Link to comment
freeday
Hey moonpup! Does your new X-unit have USB 1 or USB 2 ? Quote Link to comment
moonpup
Hey moonpup! Does your new X-unit have USB 1 or USB 2 ? Good question, I believe it is 2.x because usb 1.x did not have the capability to power anything plugged into them. I may be mistaken though Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
Hey moonpup! Does your new X-unit have USB 1 or USB 2 ? My Map60C is USB 2.0, but the transfer speed seems to be somewhere in between. The Map60C maybe 12Mbps transfer speed I believe. Some very good information at this LINK here. USB 1.0 = 1.5 Mbps USB 1.1 = 12 Mbps USB 2.0 low speed = 1.5 Mbps USB 2.0 full speed = 12 Mbps <--- This is the one I believe that the Garmin works on. USB 2.0 high speed = 480 Mbps Now that I look at it, it may be less than 12 Mbps but don't really know. Edited January 20, 2006 by GOT GPS? Quote Link to comment
