+Team Perrito Blanco Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I'm using Cachemate ver. 4.1.1. Whenever I am filling out the log for a cache, I 1. Set the "Date of Hunt" 2. "Mark Time" for the end 3. Adjust the "End" time slightly 4. Check the "Found" box 5. Fill out any notes 6. Click "Done" Now, after I click "Done", the "End" time resets itself to whatever the current time is. Me no likey this. Can anyone repeat this? Quote
+Guitar4Him Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I can't get mine to do this. I checked and I'm running version 4.1.2. Maybe you should download the latest version and see if that fixes the problem. Quote
+Team Perrito Blanco Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 It does it in 4.1.2 also. I just noticed that the date is also changed to the current date too. I went and cleared a log I had for a cache I did last week. When re-entering the information as described above (no notes), the date and time reset themselves to the current date and time. Weird. Mark time will change the date to the current date. You are asking for it to mark the current time so the current time is for the current date. I always click on the individual time boxes and set there and it stays. I have tried to re-created your problem in 4.1.2 and can't get it to happen either other then the setting of the date which I expected. If I mark time and then set the end time manually it stays. Is it possible you have a a clock or timer application loaded that might be interfering? Here I mean shareware/freeware like multiclock. I would suggest using Smittware's support on their web site. +Pasha Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I believe this is dependent on the setting "Set hunt end time" under Record View Options (when viewing a record, go to Options\View Options). If this is checked, it will set the log end time to the current time when you exit the record. Unchecked, and you have to actually tap Mark Time to get a time\date into the log. Quote
+Team Perrito Blanco Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 Thanx Pasha, that sounds like it could be the problem. I'll give it a try when I get home from work. Quote

At some point that option was turned on and forgotten. Quote
+Team Perrito Blanco Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 It looks like that solved my problem. Thanx guys! Quote
