+TruckerGeorge
Not sure what format this program uses . and also not sure if this is the right forum to post this in... I am a long haul trucker. and I would like to add waypoints into my routing software. that way as I go down the road I can look at it and say cache ahead. and then get out the handheld and go hunting for it. I am limited to 18 wheeler parking. but like I said. use delorme street atlas 2006 for my routing. but not sure how to encorperate the two... thanks truckergeorge Quote Link to comment
+webscouter.
By using GPSBabel you can create a draw layer that has all the information you need. www.gpsbabel.org To get the most of of the information download the GPX files. As a byproduct of using GPSBabel as it's "under the hood" you can also use GSAK to create the draw layers. Quote Link to comment
+Quiggle
I'm going to move this over to the GPS Units and Software forum. Hopefully there will be someone in there who can help out. Quote Link to comment
+papatom2
Dont know if you have read this yet truckergeorge, but GSAK is the way to go. It's a free to try download at gsak.net and is the program I use with Delorme. Mostly its a click of a button, but it (gsak) allows custom output and gsak has a lot of people programming macros that do custom output. Give it a try and if you have questions ask.
