They were taken in 1978 during the preparation, drilling, placing and stamping of a HARN station - Missoula GPS (PID - RY1013). Missoula GPS - PID RY1013 I recently came upon them while going through a friend's personal items upon his passing. He was involved with the Surveyor's Historical Society for many years and also worked in the County Surveyors office for a great many years. He will be missed, but would like knowing that people would enjoy these photos that he took 28 years ago. It is too bad that so many of these type of projects went undocumented.
