+sweetlife Posted January 16, 2006 Share Posted January 16, 2006 we just reciently purchased a palm TX and would like to know if anyone has used maping programs in them??? something where we can upload a .loc into them and not have to manually put in the coordinates??? I use Cachemate with its Cachenav addon ($8US) with GSAK to manage the waypoints and upload automatically to Cachemate. Then I added Fugawi software for the topo and GSAK can also send the waypoints automatically to Fugawi. I use a GlobalSat BT-338 gps. Fugawi tells me what topo features I'm going to encounter and Cachemate/cachenav is useful for the last part of the search when you get close to the cache.
