Team3124 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I'm of to try and find Cornwall Hill in the next hour or 2 Just wondering What would be a suitable trade item to take along. (Without breaking the bank) (Luckly The Boulders shopping centre is right around the corner so I can stop of on the way ) Quote
+Goofster Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 No perishable items please (food, sweets, etc.), and it depends on the cache size (micro, small, regular, large). Trading is optional, and most people trade items which are not too expensive (costs could mount in the long term). You could even consider having a 'trademark ' item of sorts to trade, as some people do, e.g. a calling card. No dangerous items (knives, matches, lighters, magnifying glasses, alcohol, cigarettes, cigars, poisonous substances, etc. etc.) Otherwise, anything goes, really. Quote
+QFC Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Go raid the kid's small toyt stock. One of thoes should do... After finding a couple of caches you will get the just of what is traded. Enjoy Cornwall Hill, it was quite a fun cache to do. (This would also be a good cache to take the wife to, nice views) Quote
+Metro Nomad Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 (edited) Hi Goofster's list is fairly comprehensive, but consider the following: (1) No Smelly Stuff - Insects & animals can smell goodies miles away. So I also include Scented Candles and the like in a forbidden list. (2) Bear in mind that a lot of kids are keen to help their grownup counterparts find a treasure so no grown up "toys" and other items of an adult nature. Happy Hunting!!
