Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), today announced that

Read the full press realease.

Looks like everyone's calls and emails to Garmin finally worked. Great job!

Three years and at least five Garmin tech support calls later, hearing every single time that Garmin will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER support the Mac community, I finally read this.

I'm ecstatic!! I'll believe it when I see it -- a press release does not a Mapsource OS X product make.

But, hey, they said it. They wrote it. It'll be a great day for Mac/Garmin owners when it finally happens.

I'll tip my hat to Garmin for finally seeing the light. Thanks, Garmin.
