ParentsofSAM
Ok we **MIGHT** make our own personal coin. I think the design is too plain, the husband thinks it is fine. What do you think? I know its our coin do what we want, but any feedback will be appreciated) Are you sick of seeing and buying cachers personal coins? Also do you like for US shipping to be included in the price of coin or added on after? Is $7.50 - $8.50 a good price range? It will not have its own icon, but will be GC trackable. +LadeBear68
This is one of the more unique coins I have seen. It looks great. Go for it. Quote Link to comment

+qattales
i love it..a little thicker border might make it stand out a bit more but the design is great. i personally like the personal coins and the designs/images people associate with themselves. i would buy some of these. +GoBolts!
cool...I would be down for two when you do it. Quote Link to comment

+LadyBee4T
I'm also thinking of one of my own and when they both happen I'm sure we could work out a trade. I like personal coins since they are so unique.... Quote Link to comment

+Anthus
Cool coin. I agree, a boarder would be nice but that's the only thing that I would change. I would be willing to buy or trade ....Anthus Quote Link to comment

+Go JayBee
You are getting there....I'd suggest sending your raw artwork to a vendor (CoinsAndPins comes to mind). Get them to start working on the design with you. You'll never know what is possible until you start the process. BTW: I'll take one of each metal........ When you get around to wanting trades, look me up.... Quote Link to comment
+Toojin
I like your coin concept and would be interested in buying or trading for one. Its always interesting how things change when they get to a coin artist and a trial coin. Good luck and have fun !! Quote Link to comment
Captain Chaoss
I like the idea of a border on it as well, and maybe radius'd corners ? I like the triangle shape, but think the radius would still give it a "coin feel". Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
If you want an honest opinion I'll say that I like the front but hate the back. I say ditch the tracking and put something that's relevant to you as cachers on the back. I don't like coins that waste an entire side with tracking information. Quote Link to comment
+GBOTS
I would like to see something besides the GC.com symbol... It's starting to look very generic (to me) But, I LOVE personal coins. Much prefer them to the others (except maybe event coins) They seem to show a lot more creativity, IMO WE would love to trade for one of yours after you have them made! Quote Link to comment

+GrandpaKim
I represent the COOL coin buying group and we would probably buy about 25 coins. We prefer to have S&H added after the coin, because we purchase in bulk. Quote Link to comment
gridlox
Some good suggestions above. I also agree with making the back something more personal. Have the "Trackable at Geocaching.com" along one side of the triangle and then have a place in the design for the tracking number (or maybe even on another side of the triangle ). "If it were me" I would make the children's heads bigger and have them all facing outward from the center, with your text in a border around the edge. Hope you don't mind, but here's a visual of how I envision it. D-man Edited January 10, 2006 by gridlox Quote Link to comment
+Crowesfeat30
I would buy 2 if trackable; 1 if not. CF30 Quote Link to comment
+pdxmarathonman
The "Trackable at...." can be really small. Take a look at BackBrakeBilly's coin for micro-text where it matters Quote Link to comment

An easier coin to make...plus it won't cut through an envelope. Also cannot be used as a weapon... Quote Link to comment

+fox-and-the-hound
That's a really nice design! That was very cool of Gridlox to help you out. The only change I might consider would be to rotate all the faces 180 degrees so that whatever sided ended up on bottom in a display case, one of the girls would be "face up". Does that make any sense at all? Just so the art matches the text on the border where the bottom edge on any side is readable. Right now as you turn the coin to read it the girls are constantly upside-down from the text. Either way it's a really nice design, hope to see it out in the field! F&tH Quote Link to comment
