Hugh Jazz
Met a jogger muggle in the park yesterday whilst out scouting caches. Made me wonder what do you call a jogger muggle, a mogger or a juggle? What other types of muggles are out there and what are their synthesized names? e.g., Runner + Muggle : Ruggle or Munner Biker + Muggle: Buggle or Miker Let's hear some other examples. This is an angst-free thread, BTW. Quote Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
"Muggle" works fine just by itself. No need to get involved in trying to describe their activities, since they don't understand ours. Quote Link to comment
+RockyRaab
True - but word play is so much fun! Running muggles: Rungles Frisbee muggles: Fribbles Canine owners: Doggles Hikers: Hickles Bikers: Bickles Joggers: Joggles Female joggers? Jiggles! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!) Quote Link to comment
+Sue Gremlin
I sort of like "Waggle" for someone walking by. or "Giggle" for someone hunting for frogs near the cache site. Okay, I'll stop. Ow! Stop it! Ow! Okay okay! I'll stop now! Quote Link to comment
+RockyRaab
Giggles is great! Signal would be proud of that one. (Or maybe not, being a frog!) Quote Link to comment
magellan315
Children riding tricyles = Tribbles A group of children riding tricyles = A trouble of tribbles. extra points for anyone who gets the Star Trek reference. Quote Link to comment
+New England n00b
Wauggles. For those *ahem* heftier waddling muggles. <- hefty, so I can say it. Edited January 9, 2006 by New England n00b Quote Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
Here in my neck of the woods we simply refer to them as "Squirrels". Calling out "Hey there's a muggle" to your caching partner raises the curiosity of everyone within earshot, but calling out "There's a squirrel!" just fits right in. After all, who cares about squirrels, right? Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
Pedestrian Muggles= Puggles or Mugestrians Wal-mart Muggles= Wuggles or Mugmarters What about Quiggle? Quote Link to comment
+sept1c_tank
A quiggle looks like a frog with large feet and tiny front legs...They are fun-loving creatures that are usually seen wearing enormous grins. If you step on one (accidently, of course) while geocaching, they become a squiggle. Quote Link to comment
+piscatore
Ran across a truck full of guys target practicing yesterday, so what do you call muggles with guns? BTW, I own guns myself but don't stick around when others are shooting. I left immediately, didn't record that cache as a DNF either. Quote Link to comment
