+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Ordered 3. I'll try 1 more of these suckers in a cache, but if that one gets stolen like my 2004s did, I'm done, lol! Quote
+wolfmaster Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 Ordered 3. I'll try 1 more of these suckers in a cache, but if that one gets stolen like my 2004s did, I'm done, lol! I've got one 2005 moving that's doing quite well. The others make nice FTF prizes Quote
57chevy Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I got mine ordered and finally broke down and ordered a Signal antenna Ball. I've been wanting one for awhile. Quote
+Ladycacher Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I got the email and ordered 2 for now. Love the price staying at 4.99. Quote
+Slammer180 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Tried the link and got a bad server message. Went to the web site and got a not for sale yet. ????? Quote
+graylling Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 (edited) Well I was going to order 1 but at 4.99 for the coin and 7.50 for shipping and handling I think I'll pass. Edited January 7, 2006 by graylling Quote
+GA Cacher Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Well I was going to order 1 but at 4.99 for the coin and 7.50 for shipping and handling I think I'll pass. Well Grayling since you always order our coins I looked to see if it would be cheaper for me to but them and send to you in the next coin order. BUT $7.50 S&H to the US also. Sorry. Quote
+Go JayBee Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 (edited) Well I was going to order 1 but at 4.99 for the coin and 7.50 for shipping and handling I think I'll pass. Ya...but if you buy 10...its still $7.50 for shipping.....that only adds .75 each coin for shipping. I admit even that seems a little steep. Grayling.... I could sell you 1 for $7.50 which would include the coin, shipping, & paypal fees....and I know you are in Canada....email me if you would like to take me up on my offer. +Team Maddie UK Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 i think I'll wait till all members of the UK coin club get their orders in b4 ordering with those shipping charges only 1/3 of the way there. Lynn Quote
+Eric K Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Tried the link and got a bad server message. Went to the web site and got a not for sale yet. ????? Try doing a 'refresh' on your browser. You may be getting a cached page. Quote
+Eric K Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Well I was going to order 1 but at 4.99 for the coin and 7.50 for shipping and handling I think I'll pass. For shipping outside of the U.S. or Canada the $7.50 is a flat rate for 1-5 coins. Thanks Quote
+Eric K Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 O.K. I see there is a problem. At first our US page was charging International Shipping. Now the US page is charging for International shipping. Those shipping charges will be adjusted when the orders are processed. Sorry for this confusion. Quote
docdigit Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I can't even find a way to order domestically. The only link that works is the one for International orders. Doc Quote
+Eric K Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 For some reason all of a sudden the charges have to be either International or Domestic. We are working on the problem and have temporarily downed the site until we can get the problem corrected. Anyone with a domestic order with International charges your order will be corrected when it is processed. We apologize for this and are working on the problem. Quote
+Team LightningBugs Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I think I'll wait a month until the Compass Rose coins go on sale and get them then. Maybe get one of them tick things too. Quote
+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Glad to know the shipping will be adjusted. Thanks for the update Eric! Quote
+4BOWS Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Ordered ours, but will be glad when the shipping charged are adjusted. Quote
+Eric K Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Shipping charges should now show correctly for International and US orders. If there are any problems please contact me via the USA Geocoins webpage. Thanks Eric Quote
+LadeBear68 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 .64 for shipping. Wow. That is really low. Quote
docdigit Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Still can't find a way to order the coin domestically. The only thing I find is the "For Orders Outside The USA and Canada" link to order. Doc Quote
+LadeBear68 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Doc: click on the website, click on order at the top than click on the word "geocoins" it will bring up the ordering page. Quote
docdigit Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 DUH! Thanks, got it...I kept pressing the picture of the coin (I'm sure glad I couldn't go caching today, I'd probably have tripped over a bear or something!) Doc Quote
+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 (edited) LOL @ doc! Hey Eric, will you just be refunding a portion of the shipping directly to our paypal accounts then? Edited January 7, 2006 by AtlantaGal Quote

Yes, it may take us several days to get through all the orders. Please be patient. Thanks I think mine is ok. I checked it and I was only charged $1.67 for shipping on 3 coins. So either you got to it or I the site worked ok for my order, lol. Quote
+graylling Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Thanks to all who offered to get a coin for me. I've got it sorted out now. Quote

They look like the TB tags that Groundspeak sells but they're designed to clearly mark coins or travelbugs as travelers. They're called Travel Bug Buddy tags. http://shop.geoswag.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/tbitems.html Scroll to the middle of the page. Quote
