+Blind Avocado Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Wow! $10.00 per coin and $2.50 shipping? I ordered mine!
+junglehair Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Wow! $10.00 per coin and $2.50 shipping? I ordered mine! I was a bit shocked by the price too. I think that's a bit much, but I ordered 2 anyway. I lived for a year in Nova Scotia, so I really wanted a coin from that region. I have no problem with $2.50 for shipping since it is coming from Canada.
+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 (edited) Ordered 2, but $10 is real expensive for the coin art shown above. *** just sent another email adding 2 more, for a total of 4. I forgot about someone I should also order for. Edited January 7, 2006 by AtlantaGal

But I figured they were tring to make $$$ for their organization, like a fundraiser.
+Team Maddie UK Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Order sent thank you on behalf of UK Coin Club
+Slammer180 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 This retired Coast Guard guy ordered 2, Thanks
+Kealia Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 (edited) Gotta laugh at the folks who post about the cost but buy anyway. If you really think it's expensive - don't buy it. I'm thinking that the next Canine Coin is going to be $12.95 + $2.00 handling + $1.50 shipping. I'm passing. Edited January 7, 2006 by kealia
+The Lost Geeks Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 Thank you very much for the support of our coins and helping our association! I will post the shipping date as soon as I get the coins. Thanks again, Brian
+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Gotta laugh at the folks who post about the cost but buy anyway. LOL, the sign of a True addict. See there's hope for you to be cured if you can resist I feel better now knowing the money is going to help the association (big geeks latest posting). I originally thought it might be giving someone 100 free coins at that price, lol. I don't mind donations.

I'm thinking that the next Canine Coin is going to be $12.95 + $2.00 handling + $1.50 shipping. I'm passing. Ok, I was one of the ones that whined about the price but bought it anyway. I do think it's a bit high, but nice to see it will at least go to supporting the organization. Do you remember a few months ago when coins were selling for $5 or $6 each. Then they started going for $7-$8. Then $8.50 with LE going for $10... well, you can see where I'm going with this. I'm sure there are others out there that are in the process of getting coins made up and deciding what price to sell them at. I don't want them to get the idea that $10 is the new norm.
+Touchstone Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I agree with the skinny dude a couple posts up Anybody want to trade for one of my cheapo GBA coins (Thanks Kealia and bullit for making a great coin at a reasonable price )

+LadeBear68 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Just curious how many people that are upset over the price belong to the geocoinclub?
+AtlantaGal Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Just curious how many people that are upset over the price belong to the geocoinclub? I don't and for the same reason... lol! I just find those coins on trades. And I'm not upset now that I know the money is going to the local geo association.
