Team Rocket Dog
I have been trying to figure out for months how in the world people do this.... I have even joined premium membership, but if I'm traveling from state to state is there an easier way to find caches along the way besides thinking of cities in route and entering the zip or going to a city along route and following the "view" map which takes a long time? Can anyone tell me an easier way? Quote Link to comment
TeamK-9
You could use Google Earth to pan across your route and see the caches within a certain distance of your travels... THat wouldn't be too horribly efficient, and I'm sure someone else can suggest something better, cause I know this has been discussed before. Quote Link to comment
Packanack
Go to a regional forum and ask people if they have a book mark list of caches along a particular route or area that they are willing to share with you. Pocket Query Go to Home Page and look at the state map and use the identify feature when you see what caches you might be interested in. Quote Link to comment

Team Rocket Dog
Wow, I do the state maps, but good lord it can take hours, thats when I usually find a city along route and find a cache, thank you! Quote Link to comment
Packanack
Pocket query sounds like it will offer you the best solution, you can tweak it to load only certain caches. It comes with your premium membership and use one of the geocaching programs, I use GSAK, which I believe cost $8 and is worth every dime. Quote Link to comment
Miragee
Caches Along a Route Instructions You can set this up to be for only 1.5/1.5 caches within .25 miles of the highway you are traveling. Using GSAK, you can even combine results of different filters to get all the 1.5/1.5 caches along the route, with more difficult caches further from the main road near where you will be spending more time.
