+Whostops Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 What shouldn't be in a cache? Use your common sense in most cases. Explosives, ammo, knives, drugs, and alcohol shouldn't be placed in a cache. In the last few months I have retrieved 4 knives & 2 botlles of "Shooters" from caches. Now I love my Booze & avidly collect penknives, but they don't belong in caches. Yes.......No.......? Quote
+GlobalRat Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 AGREE These do not belong in caches! Along with cigarettes, condom's, poison etc. When leaving items keep in mind that kids are caching too! So don't leave your old copies of X films and mags either. Quote
+vespax Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Along with cigarettes, condom's, poison etc. When leaving items keep in mind that kids are caching too! So don't leave your old copies of X films and mags either. Cigarettes and porn. Highly tempting for muggles. Toy dinosuar and colored pencils. Not so highly sought after. On a serious note: No need for fire starting things to be placed in a cache out in nature. (cig lighters, matches, magnify glass, etc.) Please refrain with all the fires lately. Quote
TB Hunter Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Agree! Why would any geocacher put any of those items in a cache? Quote
+Goofster Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Sweets (candy) and fabric softener are among the more unsual and inappropriate items I've encountered. Non-perishable items only please. Personally, I like finding caches that contain more than plastic toys and bits of twisted wire - it's not just the children who enjoy the finds! Quote
