Discombob Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I was wandering what the most visited cache is in SA. The most popular cache I have hidden is Paradise Revisited, which has been found by 35 different cachers Can anyone beat that? Quote
Brick Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 My cache Smuts House, Irene has been visited by more than 90 cachers. Some have logged multiple finds, so it is a bit difficult to count, but a quick scan brings me to 94 unique cachers. Quote
GlobalRat Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 If I only count the found logs, then I think Urban Tag #1 tops my list as the most Found cache at 43 Unique finds. I'm guessing that Smuts House will top the list, it's one of the oldest caches in the country and is frequently visited. Quote
Tricky Vicky & Mickey Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Our most frequently visited cache is Franschhoek Pass Historical which was placed in March 2005 and has had 41 unique finds. Quote
vespax Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I wonder if this cache Camera Cache $ Couldn't be a runner. Just found it and was surprised how long it has been there. Coming up on 4 years! Quote
Whostops Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I think ND Botanical Garden is the most visited in Natal with 21 unique vists. Quote
Brick Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Had a look a Smuts again. 99 unique logged Finds. Cache has been active now for 4 years and 4 days... 13 of them I have personally met 8 cachers have found ONLY this cache. 4 cachers have logged the find more than once... (naughty) 1 cacher I met as direct result of THIS cache... 33 travelbugs have passed through here. Good fun. Quote
QFC Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Me thinks the Mr Brick has too much time on his hands. Quote
Discombob Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 yes, I thought Smuts House could be quite the contender. I always thought it was owned by J greengrass, but i guess thats because he logged 3 fings, the fiend. Interestingly enough, I moved into his daughters room in a communal house in Sea Point a few years back (when she moved out, of course), and only discovered the connection a few months later. Quote
Goofster Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I always thought it was owned by J greengrass, but i guess thats because he logged 3 fings, the fiend. What's with this logging of multiple finds? Has greengrass.j been smoking too many green grass j's? 1000 demerits on the ranking site! Quote
