perdix
Sjoe, can we not simply celebrate the 1000th traditional / multi cache listing then? Edited June 6, 2006 by perdix Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
Sjoe, can we not simply celebrate the 1000th traditional / multi cache listing then? What about poor Bloggs...? This is going to be a contentious entry in the HOF Virtuals? Earthcaches? Mystery caches? Event caches? Quote Link to comment
+Team_Tramper
I think we would probably have to look at celebrating the 1000th placed and accepted cache. Otherwise its gonna get too confusing. GR, any chance of asking GC.com to give that cache, whenever its finalised as to which one it is, a WPT ID of something like GCSA1K? We wont have to worry about what to do when it goes past GCSA9K, well at least not our generation - I dont think there are enough hiding spots anyway Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
I think we would probably have to look at celebrating the 1000th placed and accepted cache.... As long as folks accept that this number is taken at a particular point in time..... GR, any chance of asking GC.com to give that cache, whenever its finalised as to which one it is, a WPT ID of something like GCSA1K? I'm afraid not, "S" is not used in the numbering sequence. Besides, the numbering is sequentially generated. As an aside, the current numbering convention is due to run out... estimates are that it will still happen this year. PS: have the numbering all sorted out... now to spend a few days getting rid of those unpublished caches. Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
Curious to see whether anyone can guess within 5 which was the 1000th approved listing in SA. Calculated the listing and will do some double checking towards the weekend. Quote Link to comment
+Tom & Jerry
More caches is a fine idea as we need some reason to travel to SA! Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
More caches is a fine idea as we need some reason to travel to SA! Plenty of good reasons to travel here... caches just a bonus 1000 active caches reached! Quote Link to comment
