SCP-173
I saw people talking about trading numerous coins for a single coin in return in another thread and thought it was interesting. My record is 9 coins for 1. I still think it's one of the best trades I've made. Thanks yet again to the person who helped me fuel my selective addiction. How about the rest of you? What the most coins you've traded away for a single coin in return? Quote Link to comment
+Night_Hawk
2 for 1. But I'll go as high as 8 to 1 for a Moun10bike V2 and 15 to 1 for a Moun10bike v1 I can dream cant I? Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
2 & 3 for 1 Quote Link to comment
+Ladycacher
I have done a 2 for one. But I don't think that should be the norm though. I prefer keeping it a 1-1 thing. Quote Link to comment
Rupert2
I have gone 2 for 1 only twice and did not like doing it either time. It is great to this question dangled out there for discussion (perhpas this will change my attitude). I have often wondered what the norm is. Unless trading for a "true classic" I prefer to keep it one to one. ...will be watching this thread Quote Link to comment
+Marky
I'm not sure of the actual count, but I know a local cacher who traded something like 23 coins for a Moun10Bike version 1. --Marky Quote Link to comment
+bikinibottomfeeders
i traded 2 for a geowoodstock and have received 3 for 1 for a coin that was trackable and only 100 made. i personally think multiples for rarer coins is okay on that note does anyone have an extra geobash to trade me? -bbf Quote Link to comment
+HerrK & Friends
Limited for limited coins, rare for rare coins and if I have not a rare or limited it's costing us more coins! Quote Link to comment
+Cornerstone4
I did 16-4-1 on a Ver 1 Moun10Bike. Quote Link to comment
+Team LightningBugs
I once did a 4 to 1 trade. I was probably a little over eager for a particular slug in a maragrita glass, but I don't regret it. My trading box is still overflowing. Quote Link to comment
+GrandpaKim
4 for 1 for me. Quote Link to comment
+graylling
I don't think I've ever gone more than 1 for 1. I realize that limits the coins I can get but then I don't think I could possibly ever get every coin out there anyway. I was recently looking for a coin and was offered it in a 1 for 3 trade which I declined. Shortly after I worked a 1 for 1 trade for it. Sometimes it pays to wait a bit and look around. +Redwing_dave
I got 4-for-1 for a German Coin when they first became available. Now I don't know if I could give them away. Quote Link to comment
+EScout
one for one only. And I have done many trades. Quote Link to comment
+TeamMaddog
5 for 1 Fall coin. Quote Link to comment
LoriDarlin
3 for 1 once. 2 for 1 several times. And I would do many for a Moun10bike v.1 if anyone has any extras Quote Link to comment
+f0t0m0m
44 Once, around 12 3 times.... Quote Link to comment
+Kealia
1 for 1 so far. I think it's best that way (personally). When I trade I'm like others (rare for rare, etc.) but I don't let eBay prices affect trades. Quote Link to comment
+IceCreamMan
I got 13 coins for a GW3 Volunteer Bronse. Also trade 5 or 6 coins for a moun10bike v2 Quote Link to comment
+Pepper
I'm a one for one gal and I don't get into the rare and LE stuff at all. I've got to keep it simple. Quote Link to comment
