+WYlostinMA
Well, I deceided that it's time to put my coins in ablums! Where does everyone get their albums? Thanks... Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
I buy those mead 5-star binders that zip all the way around at Staples. Then I just add the coin sheets to the binders as needed. Edited December 30, 2005 by AtlantaGal Quote Link to comment
Cyclops and Son
TARGET! Any binder would work as long as you buy a thick one and you have the right pages for it. Quote Link to comment
+Big JohnP
I use the Deluxe Albums from the Caching Place. Quote Link to comment
+IceCreamMan
I get the pages at The Caching Place and the Zipper binders at Walmart. Ive got 3 the first two are just about full.. Quote Link to comment
+f0t0m0m
I am using the Deluxe binders and pages from TheCachingPlace.com. They are great... I have 5 binders full and 2 more on the way.... Quote Link to comment
+graylling
I got the binders and pages at Staples. 3" binders are best. Also go for the trading card sheets. They will hold just about any size coin easily and you won't have to worry about having so many per page that it makes it hard to turn the pages without losing stuff. Quote Link to comment
+HerrK & Friends
I use the NUMIS albums: Costs inclusive 5 vinyl displays not more the $15..... Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
Also go for the trading card sheets. Hmm, I'll have to get a few of those type of pages. I am using the ones that hold dollar bills currently for the odd shaped coins... geobones, screws, ammocan. But they're not very effective. Thanks for the tip. Quote Link to comment
+Mystery Ink
We use the standard 5 Star but the rings tend to bend after awhile so we might be switching to these Dansco Albums. Edited December 30, 2005 by Mystery Ink Quote Link to comment
Jake - Team A.I.
I'm using this one. I like it because of the handle and optional strap for carrying... Plus it zips closed. Quote Link to comment

I was using that with craft foam cut to hold the coin in place (used black foam and it looks really nice) but the coins still slip out, particularly the odd shaped coins like GOWT, Screw, and Germany. New York slipped out a bit too since the edge isn't flat, but curved/beveled. Went to a coin shop and got the 2.5x2.5 pages (12 coins per page) and flips to hold the coins in the pocket. Went with the plastic flips vs the cardboard ones so they can be taken out. The flips are a lot like the ones most coins are coming in but has 2 pockets vs 1. This seems to be working out okay, but I really miss the look of the black foam surrounding each coin. Quote Link to comment
+Right Wing Wacko
I'd post a link to where I ordered mine... but the moderators would probably delete the link as commercial. Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
My old padded/zippered Mead binder from grade school (that thing sat for years gathering dust) works perfect for holding geocoins. The pages are 4/$1 at my local coin shop. Quote Link to comment

I do the same thing that robert does with the 2 1/2" square flips in the 12 coins per page pocket pages. I've got about 120 to 130 coins in a fairly heavy duty zippered album. I really like it because I can pull the coins out and actually touch them. They're not all sealed away for looking only. Quote Link to comment
+SeventhSon
A few of my trades have come in vinyl flips and I really like these. Some have the coin maker stamped on them but some don't. Does CoinsAndPins ship this way? And if not, where can I get these flips? Quote Link to comment

+GeoCrickets
I use the Deluxe Albums from the Caching Place. If you have a coin shop in you area and you need pages you should be able to pick some up. That is if the Deluxe Album you have are the brown ones. I get most of my albums fron our coin shop and all the different sizes of paged for the coins. I like them because that do not flip around and are very sturdy pages. Richard Quote Link to comment
+GeoCrickets
We use the standard 5 Star but the rings tend to bend after awhile so we might be switching to these Dansco Albums. This is the ones I have been using and am very happy with them. Richard Quote Link to comment

Richard One of my three 5-stars is a little bent on one of the rings, but I think that's because I had 20 pages of coins in the binder, lol! I have now downsized the amount of pages to 11 in each and have 3 binders. I'll soon need a 4th. Quote Link to comment
+Shasties
I checked with 2 coin stores near us and neither had the size flips and album pages I wanted. I found JP's Coin Supplies online. They had a large selection of both flips and Air-Tite supplies. I checked out The Caching Place and they have supplies specifically for geocoins if you want to go the Air-Tite way. Yep, I get my pages and flips from JP's Corner, www.jpscorner.com. Moun10Bike actually recommended them to me. I've copied my order info below so you can see the costs and item numbers, if you're interested. > Item Ref. Price Qty. +AtlantaGal
I wanted to add that I get my coin supplies from here http://cointown.com/ (Robinsons). It's a local coin shop here in Marietta, GA, but they do sell online too. The coin pages are 70 cents each and the flips are 100ct for $3.50. Quote Link to comment
+robert
The flips are cheap but there are SAFLIPS as well. The coin shop said that if I planned to store them for more than 5 years I should use those instead to keep the coins from getting corroded. Quote Link to comment
