+WYlostinMA
I'm just wondering who is guilty of re-using bubblewrap envelopes that they receive coins in? I know I am.... Quote Link to comment
+1NatureMom
Renew, Reuse, Recycle! No guilt here! Quote Link to comment

+Puma
Me too Why throw them away, when they are still O.K. ... When sending coins I usually use two - a smaller with coins in it stuffed into another ... Quote Link to comment
+Fundamental
Ofcourse.. why should I feel guilty? It would be stupid to throw those away.. Quote Link to comment
+Big JohnP
I have not done it myself, yet, but I still have most of the bubble mailers in a box. I guess as long as they are in good shape and people tape the openings very tightly, with a couple of layers of good tape, they could be recycled. I'll give it a try on the next ones I send out. +ChileHead
I don't understand why there would be any guilt here. I reuse everything possible. Quote Link to comment
+TMOCM
Absolutely! I reuse the back part of a used bubble envelope by making a small envelope to place the coin(s) into. This smaller envelope is then taped to the inside of the new bubble envelope. If the ends get cut or the outer package damaged, the coins are still safe in the small envelope. Quote Link to comment
+Team Maddie UK
I definitely re-use them and the cardboard USPS ones as well. I recycle all I can and would like to think that they are recycled again with the person I sent them to. Quote Link to comment
+Ladycacher
I re-use all the time. For coins, things on ebay, mailing to friends, etc. Quote Link to comment
+welch
I definitely re-use them and the cardboard USPS ones as well. I recycle all I can and would like to think that they are recycled again with the person I sent them to. I used to reuse those priority mail envelope people would send me, but the lady the local PO didn't seem to like that. Even if I turned then inside out and stapled the edge back together. She said to just throw them in the trash Quote Link to comment
Dancingfool
Of course and sometimes the stamps if they are not cancelled.Recycling is good. Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
Maybe if I knew how to open them without ruining them I'd reuse them. How do you do it? Maybe I'm just a perfectionist and need to get over sending out used mailers. Quote Link to comment
+Team CoyChev
....and the stamps too that aren't canceled. Any more questions? LOL Quote Link to comment
+Thrak
Well..... The guilt part may come into play when you reuse the envelope, stick on $.89 postage, and charge $2.50 for shipping. Quote Link to comment
+Big JohnP
I have a small plastic tool I picked up at the Post Office for $2 to open up letters. I has the bottom part that looks like a plastic toothpick with a razor blade insert. You just insert the point under the corner of the flap and slide it along. Cuts the mailers straight and clean. Now THAT is a really excellent idea! Quote Link to comment
+Night_Hawk
....and the stamps too that aren't canceled. Any more questions?LOL Well at least I aint the only one re-using stamps..LOL I also re-use the envelope's as long as they there in good shape. Quote Link to comment
+Ladybug Kids
I reuse the bubble envelops all the time for personal trades, but use new envelops for coin sales if shipping is included in the price. Just feel that if someone paid for an envelop, they ought to get a fresh one. Envelops which I receive that have been reused a couple of times and are beginning to look worn I use as the primary wrapping for coins as described in a post above. Recycling is good! +Zero CooL NL
Ehm huh... hmm... Guilty as Charged Just made a trade and jused a 2nd hand bubblewrap envelope. But hey i thought it was cool judge Quote Link to comment

+Damenace
Guess I better stand up and be counted . Quote Link to comment
+joefrog
You betcha. I've seen mailers with three, four postmarks! Those poor things are almost ready for retirement! Quote Link to comment
Thrasher22
I've reused bubblewraps countless of times. Just glue and tape a piece of paper over the addresses and stamps and... voila, a "new"envelope is ready to go. Saves environment and money too. Quote Link to comment
+thBriGuy
Those who have traded with me can attest to the fact that I re-use the envelopes. I dont even try to hide it, just use a single sheet of paper, and if you look close, you can read my address right through. I've even sent someone back their own envelope. Quote Link to comment
+LadeBear68
Glad to see I am not the only one. I also like tape and lots of it. Quote Link to comment
+Dreamin'Eagle
Guilty as charged I have cut up card board mailers to tape the coins into and then stuff them into the bubble mailers. Now that I've gotten some mailers I will reuse those too. Quote Link to comment
Rupert2
Re-use should be a way of life. Guilty as charged. Quote Link to comment
