Dale_Lynn
My laptop does not have one of those "Ol timey" serial ports. Can someone tell me where to find an adapter cable from serial to usb port? Yes get USB/SERIAL adapter.... Found at most any store like BEST BUY or CIRCUIT CITY or RADIO SHACK maybe local computer store or find online source...If price is more than $20 look else where.... Load drivers off CD **** BEFORE**** you plug in adapter to USB port for first time.... Do GOOGLE or FROOGLE search for "USB-Serial adapter". Also some things you need to know are in this thread... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=116361 Dale Edited December 22, 2005 by Dale_Lynn Quote Link to comment
+Team_LPD
I found one at Wal-Mart for about $20.00, works great. As already stated, you must load the drivers before inserting the cable. Quote Link to comment
+ATMA
Wal-Mart around here for $18. Works great and is smaller than most of the blocky hard plastic ones. Quote Link to comment
