I was on the phone with my vendor today. We were putting finishing touches on an event coin I am working on, and rounding out some details on the Nut coins.

 

Well, I asked her how business was, and she told me she just delivered artwork for review on 50 projects!!!

 

I didn't ask if they were all geocoins, but I would venture that most of them are.

I need to call Tess on the coin I am working.. I wonder how she is doing with the one I am working on.. Did you know she only gets about 4 hours of sleep a day.. I could not do it, and have great respect for her..

Not only that but she is one person short in her office right now since the girl who works for her is on maternity leave.

I think this is one reason I am slowing waaaaaay down on the coins. I'm just getting ones that are of special interest and not trying for the whole "set' of what's out there.

 

I can't wait to see the websites of folks that do collect everything though!

Too bad they are all in such limited quantities though. I would really love to see geocoins become more common in caches. Trackable or not.

Last year last year I won a 2004 Harley FatBoy for my dad (had ten entrys our of 11,000)- so my taxes for that year I owed- I usally get back a grand.. cause I porpously havem take more than I need to use in the summer...

Last year last year I won a 2004 Harley FatBoy for my dad (had ten entrys our of 11,000)- so my taxes for that year I owed- I usally get back a grand.. cause I porpously havem take more than I need to use in the summer...

If you send me $100 per month starting in January, I'll send you a check for $1200 in April of 2007. I love it when people loan me money free of charge. And so does the U.S. government.

 

On topic: I am just finishing my shelf that doubles my display capacity. I am not sure what to do with the other 40 coins though I think I can display 135 coins. My wife just noticed the overflow and when I mentioned how much I thought I could sell the complete MIGO seasonal set for, her response was "Sell Them!".

I bought a painting from a local artist 5 years ago. $100. Today, his works sell for 10k+.

I told my wife and`she said sell them!!! sell them all!!!

Talk about an investment! I'd sell it too! Everytime I have a coin (regular, not geo) or comic that is listed for a lot more than I paid for it I think, "Wow I lucked out on this one," and hang on to it. Case & point... Witchblade #1 - bought for $30, went up to $75, held onto it hoping it would keep going up, now it goes for about $25. I won't even go into my coin collection. *blegh* Sorry for breaking the topic.
