+The Mars Bars
Having just had a funny turn with a recently purchased SD card from Amazon. Viking (rebadged Toshiba) 1Gb for £35.99 Anyone care to recommend a good brand of CF card (2Gb)... ...heard that people don't like Sandisk for some reason. Any to steer clear of? What's reliable and what's not? Cheers Dave Quote Link to comment
Dave from Glanton
...heard that people don't like Sandisk for some reason. I've used a Sandisk CF card in one of my cameras for a long time now and (touch wood) not had any problems with it, and it certainly gets plenty of use. I also use a Jessop's own-brand and that's given me sterling service as well. Quote Link to comment

+The Mars Bars
Comparison Chart Thanks for that. Doesn't really come to any conclusions, or recomendations though. Was hoping to find out what make various individuals are using and any comments that they might have and then go with the happy majority. Quote Link to comment

+Moote
IMHO I really think that the SanDisk Ultra III cards are the best on the market, also SanDisk give excellent after sales service. Whatever the card (CF, SD, MMC etc) SanDisk are the manufacturer to go for. A lot of people go off SanDisk because they trash a card but as I said in your other thread it is about respecting flash media limitations, personally I would not use CF cards as the slots pins damage easily (Device end, not Card) Milton (aka Moote) Quote Link to comment
