+Kealia Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 OK, I'll bite. Since there are no physical caches in Yosemite and only a couple of virturals, it seems odd to make a coin celebrating a National Park where caching is not allowed, doesn't it? And before somebody says, "If you don't like it, don't buy it" I realize that I am not obligated to purchase it. Just opening up a conversation. Quote

+Kealia Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 What's exactly disparaging about it? It was a simple question about the relevancy of it..... Quote

+Puma Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 (edited) I just took a closer look on the Website and noticed, that if you click the email link next to the coin pictures it starts an email with "San Francisco information request" in the subject line, I think I used this link and didn't pay attention to what's in the subject line and so the mail maybe didn't get where it should. +BWidget Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I hope there's still some left. I preordered 4. Quote

I noticed that too, so I took out the subject line and sent the email without a subject, but specifically requested 4 coins. Quote
+WWC-World's Worst Cacher Posted December 10, 2005 Author Posted December 10, 2005 The Yosemite Web page has just been updated including the preorder page. Links: http://www.geocoin.byethost5.com/index_files/page0003.htm or http://www.geocoin.byethost5.com/index.htm I have also had to make a change in how I am going to handle orders that were oversubscribed - See the web page. Sorry that the pages not quite perfect. Still learning how to do this. Quote
