Garmin City Select

I have City Select and I want to print more than what is on the screen as far as area. In other words once I set my scale I no longer can see all that I want to print. Is there a program out there that can take my database file and print a larger area. I have a plotter and want to print to a 36 x 36 area.

 

Any suggetions would be apprecitated.

One method that I have used, but is time consuming, is to take a series of screen captures and stitch them together to make a larger composite. That's how I did this.

You can do this with USAPhotoMaps. This program will download your GPS data and display your waypoints and tracks over USGS topo or aerial photos from TerraServer. You can then select as large an area you want and save it as a "Screen.jpg", and can even georeference it in UTM.

Those are my GPS tracks of paddling my kayak along all 100 miles (approximately) of the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota.

I do have ExpertGPS which allows me to do the same thing. Problem is I end up with to much graphics. I was hoping to just get the state map with the interstates and main roads.
