+OmniCitadel
so its like 15 degrese outside and well 5 inches of snow... I took my gsp (german short hair pointer) out for a walk and was plesently supprised as i had her run the area where i know there is a micro. I am really glad i was watching her because she digs in the snow for a sec and comes back with a lovely little billet container. I had no hopes of finding this cache today so i will have to return another day to log it. so i am thinking that she was smelling all the different human smells in the area... (yall are stinkey) GPS WE DONT NEED NO STINKING GPS I HAVE A GSP Quote Link to comment
+Blucruz
That's cool to have a dog to sniff them out for you. I just hid a few up in a area where it does snow and hung them in the trees so they wouldn't get snowbound for extended periods of time. I can't imagine trying to find on at ground level in the snow. Maybe I need to add a metal detector the the caching gear I carry....Honey can I have some $.... Quote Link to comment
