Next weekend I'm off to the Czech Republic for the weekend, with some friends, who are keen to have a go @ geocaching. Anyway, I've been searching for some caches in the second city (i think!) Brno, to have a crack at. My Czech is pretty non existent - though we are going over there with a friend who is a Czech national, so the language barrier won't be too much of a problem. Anyway, what I'm really looking for is a recommdation of some caches in Brno that are worth checking out, I've tried looking through the listings on the site, but can't seem to find any. Probably due to fact that I don't know any Czech!!!! I would be extremely greatful if anyone could help me out here, and help make next weekend a real sucess!! Best regards. Quote Link to comment

+Saman Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 As far as I know one of my Czech colleagues contacted you with the reccomendations In Brno there is not too many traditional caches, there is a lot of mystery and multicaches, which can take you a couple of hours to solve. But caches Citadel GCG747, Statl GCKP2K and Petrov GCKM26 are located in the city center and will show you the most beuatiful places and views of Brno. Enjoy your visit Quote Link to comment

Didn't have that much time to go 'caching in the end - mainly due to a long night on the beer and an early afternoon flight back to Stansted. Anyway, I managed to accomplish my objective of leaving on of my travel bugs in the Citadel cache. Be interesting where he goes from here........... Again many thanks for the heads up!
