+Pengy&Tigger Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Just giving you all a heads-up that our personal geocoin will be available by the end of the year. The coins will not be on general sale, however there is a way to get one. Over the next few months, we will be leaving a P&T Poker Chip in every cache that we visit that is big enough to hold one. The chips vary in value from between 1 and 25 points. All you have to do is visit those caches after us, and pick up 100 points worth of chips to claim a geocoin. For full rules see here. T Quote
+Pengy&Tigger Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 Oh No! Whatever next! Badgers? Quote
+Firth of Forth Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 So, not much chance of getting one of these north of the border, then! Fancy a trip up here for Hogmanay? Quote

I did say over the next few months We're hoping to spread them as wide as we can, hopefully dropping higher value ones further from home on average. Get more caches out up there and you never know! +adambro Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Sounds like a very neat idea, shame there isn't a way to watch a user. Quote

+Moote Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I think you can bribe Tigger for one if you have £900 in your pocket Love the coin design Milton (aka Moote) P.S. Hope that the thread will not become a controversial subject now that I have posted Quote

Nediam Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 (edited) Nice looking coin, I like the personal touch. Have to keep an eye out for the chips Edited due to JD impaired spelling! Edited December 4, 2005 by nediam Quote
+Stuey Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Just giving you all a heads-up that our personal geocoin will be available by the end of the year. You might have a slight problem there.... The back is smaller than the front . I'll be keeping an eye on your journeys out if you ever happen to be down in Devon (LOADS of top quality caches by the way including two rated in the top 10 ). Gimme a D Gimme a E Gimme a V Gimme a O Gimme a N What have you got? P&T's next caching holiday! (Well, you can't blame me for trying ) Great idea by the way! Quote
+mafarrimond Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 A great idea and a lovely coin. I will keep a look out for the caches. Quote
+Happy Humphrey Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 It could be worth following P&T's cache trail and then selling the collected poker chips on Ebay! I'll give you 5p per point. 3p for good forgeries. HH Quote
+klaus23 Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Gimme a D Gimme a E Gimme a V Gimme a O Gimme a N Interesting, as Devon and Cornwall seem to have gone 'missing' on the outline of England Quote

T Plenty of caches up here still left for you two to do, despite the blitz you had earlier in the year! Fife is teeming with them, for example. Quote
+Firth of Forth Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 (edited) I can see that cachers are going to have to enter into bartering - no point in two people ending up with 50 each, for example, and neither getting a coin. Could get very interesting. Edited December 5, 2005 by Firth of Forth Quote

It's going to be an exciting time watching the pair of you travelling around the country. Those who know what kind of cachemobile you have may be at an advantage. Quote
