+TravelingViking
I noticed that the quality of the tracking numbers on the coins are VERY different. Some are barely visible/readbable, others stand out very clear. Does anybody know who the manufacturer was (or what technique they used) for the Geowoodstock III coin? From the coins I have the tracking number on it really stands out, the difference is HUGE... Thanks, Olaf Quote Link to comment

My vision is fine but I've broken out my jeweler's loupe on more than one occasion to figure out what I was looking at, particularly with a "2" vs. "Z". Quote Link to comment
+junglehair
I believe the manufacturer was KV Coins. Unfortunately, they have a reputation of being very slow (it's been almost 4 months now on our New York coins), but they do quality work. Quote Link to comment
+CacheDragons
The Iowa coin I had done is the best I have seen for being legible. One you need to request the correct font. Two you need to make it big enough to read. I had mine done at coinsandpins.com Quote Link to comment

SCP-173
Most bad readable tracking numbers are laser etched numbers! Are those the ones that look like scratches in the metal? Now those are poor quality. Quote Link to comment
Rupert2
The best ones I have seen are on the NEFGA and Wisconsin coins. The NEFGA ones look like they were physically attached to the coin. Both have black numbers. The worst I have seen are on the Ohio and geobash coins. It makes them stand out better and easier to read. I'll just say I agree with you whole heartedly on the rest of your post. Quote Link to comment
