evrik Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I am running a TB race and need a checkpoint cache in the midwest. Any suggestions? Quote
geognerd Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Beverly in Cook County is one of the oldest caches around, placed May 13, 2000. Quote
welch Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 How about the APE cache near Joliet? Big box and all Quote
Audion64 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 If you are looking for heavily visited caches you might send a message to Greenback, he has been building a list of caches in the Chicago area with over 200 finds. Quote
evrik Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Thanks for the info. I have checked into come of the suggestions. I like the idea of a easily attainable, well-visited cache that is fairly free from muggling. I'm also looking for a cache owner, or local geocacher who might be able to keep an eye on the cache and the TB's that are travelling through it. Quote
Panther in the Den Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 This is a good one! Click on me! Well visited and the owner drops by often. Quote
evrik Posted December 7, 2005 Author Posted December 7, 2005 Did you get my PM? I have a couple of questions for you I don't want to post. Quote
evrik Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 O'Hare looks like the best option. Quote
