The Golem
I'm sure this question has cropped up before but are there any unusual cache containers in the UK? All of the ones I've found so far have been some form of tupperware. Surely someone has used a bit of imagination... Are there any camouflaged containers or "bird" caches in the British Isles? I've left 2 so far that are in black BDH containers with another one in the kitchen ready to go.... (Mine don't have "Warning Hazardous" on the side! They have the large Official Geocache sticker...) +Stuey
are there any unusual cache containers in the UK? LOADS, but I'd have to kill you if I told you what they looked like, or where they were Here's an old one of mine which went down very well: Devious Devonian (archived) spoiler pics Quote Link to comment

Some of mine are in cammo bags, and the rest are camouflage-painted. There are certainly plenty of containers out there like fake logs, fake stones and so on. And quite a few that it wouldn't be fair to describe. Stuey's Devious Devonian above took me three visits to find, and I only found it then when I texted him for an extra hint! Quote Link to comment
dino-irl
Here's an old one of mine which went down very well: Devious Devonian (archived) spoiler pics Was there a clue or anything to suggest where the cache was located or was it just perseverance? Quote Link to comment
Stuey
Perseverance. The cache page is exactly as it was when it was live. One poor soul went back 7 times. Many people went back many times, and I was giving clues by email to them. I even told someone exactly what they were looking for and where it was, and they still took a while to find it. They all seemed to enjoy it though once they found it, despite the frustration, hehe Edited December 1, 2005 by Stuey Quote Link to comment
The Golem
Time to make a few devious ones I think.... Quote Link to comment
Learned Gerbil
I have come across all sorts, including containers in the shapes of animals and insects. Quote Link to comment
Birdman-of-liskatraz
Ohh I remember Devious Devonian Cache - it me about 30 seconds to find. I know that Spannermans equally devious Cache - Can You See it? - it causing problems for some *Grins* no names mentioned.... Quote Link to comment
Happy Humphrey
There's several here on the IOM - nothing to do with me, of course - and one of them is a "micro in the woods" ! HH Edited December 1, 2005 by Happy Humphrey Quote Link to comment
Clyde.
Cache plug time We've tried to use abit of imagination on two of our caches, they are still active so I can't give you the full low-down on them but you can always have a go at finding them..... Edit by G.O.G. - Tut, tut! You should know better Edited December 2, 2005 by Lactodorum Quote Link to comment

The Golem
I get them from a friend who charges me a fiver each. If you go to a canoeing shop they will charge you around £12.00 each!! Quote Link to comment
