Merrill Misfits
Our 5th grade son is learning about the United States this year. Each one of the students had to pick a state to study for most of this year. They have to give a 45 minute presentation on their state along with many props. He chose South Dakota since it was one of the states that we passed thru on our "geo-cation" out West this year and he enjoyed the time we spent there. One of the things he gets credit for is receiving mail from his chosen state. Is there anyone out there who could send him a postcard from South Dakota? He would really appreciate it!! If you are interested, please post here or PM us and I will PM back the information. Thank You! Quote Link to comment

Merrill Misfits
Just thought I'd bump this up and see if anyone could help out. He has to have the postcard by March. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Malarky
45 minutes??? Most grad school students don't even present that long!! Quote Link to comment
Merrill Misfits
Yes, I thought that was a bit excessive too! Sounds to me like the teacher wants the last part of the year off - 60 students in the grade x 45 minutes = lots of spare time for her! Quote Link to comment
Team Sunka
Have you received what your son needs? If not, I could help out. Let me know through email or PM if you still need postcards or other SD trinkets. Team Sunka (Sunka = "dog" in Lakota) pronounced "Shunka" Quote Link to comment
