+John Stead Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Hi,reading the Women Caching Alone thread has surprised me as I rightly or wrongly assumed a number of posters were male. So the question is are you male or female? Yes Me too! Quote
+capsecum Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Capsecum = M Capsecum's clan F F M Most caching done as the family unit. Quote
+The Bongtwashes Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Bob Bongtwash (me) = M (100% of caches) Toddy Bongtwash = F (15% of caches) James Bongtwash = M (<2% of caches) Rowena Bongtwash = F (<2% of caches, but loves reading the forums) Quote
+Travers Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I'm female and have done all of our finds...and many DNFs!. Mr Travers who claims he isn't really interested has done around 90% and the mutts have probably done 80%. I log all the finds, post on the forum, take and upload the photos and set the caches. Quote
nobby.nobbs Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 well according to the letter ihave to carry i'm a member of the human race (just) and of the m persuation. Quote
+Firth of Forth Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 (edited) FoF=F There seems to be an automatic assumption that lone cachers are male. I've been to several events where people have expressed surprise that I am not. Definitely F though. Now generally teamed up with Jack Aubrey. Edited November 18, 2005 by Firth of Forth Quote
+dibbler69 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Dibbler69 = Male normally out by myself!! Dulin = Female My daughter, comes out when she has time!!! Quote
+purple_pineapple Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Mr pp - M Mrs pp - F Mr pp does all the forum postings while Mrs pp calls him a geek and complains that she's lost her husband! Mrs pp usually writes the log entrys on GC.com. We always cache together - its our time away from phones, work, other people! (usually). Out of 140 odd caches, I've done one solo on the way home from work, and didn't enjoy it as much, and Mrs pp has done two with her sister after her hen night - needless to say I wasn't there! Dave I confess to sometimes making assumptions about the gender of cachers, which often turn out to be wrong! I also find it intriguing how some cachers get around all over the country - I noticed recently that alibags was caching in my neck of the woods, despite being a northern lass! Quote
+Skippy and Pingu Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Skippy = M Pingu = F + 2 unknowns!!! Quote
