+Jamie Z Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 In the course of my geocaching days, I've come across a number of interesting license plates held by geocachers. Here a couple you may have already seen, or maybe not. Probably the best known of geocaching personalized plates, but I couldn't find a clear photo. Saw this one at an event. We all gave him crap that it said, "I Love Virtuals," although he insists it has nothing to do with geocaching. I couldn't find a picture of my favorite geocaching plate, but I'll see if I can locate it for later posting. Jamie Quote
+Ambrosia Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I want one!!!! My husband and I are having a debate about it right now. But I shall prevail!!! Quote
+Jamie Z Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 And there's this one found elsewhere in the forums: Jamie Quote
Clan Riffster Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I don't have a pic, but my wife's plate (Florida), on her truck says "GO CACHE". Quote

Mushtang Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Here is one of three that I had made. I gave one away as a FTF prize, I put one on my car, and the other one is in a closet somewhere. Quote
"Paws"itraction Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I've logged this one: (1markymark1's Big Green Expedition Jeep) and Pipanella has her Slug Bug Silver tricked out with a special plate: Quote
+OzGuff Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I will have to look into getting a license plate with my caching handle on it... Quote
+Teamhawaii1981 & blueicyrose Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I gotta say, those ones that say "TNLNSL" are awesome! If I saw one of those pass me on the highway I would beep like nobody's business. Quote
+wimseyguy Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 (edited) The local FTF hound has CACHECAR on his plate. I'm tempted to get one, but I have my business' name on it right now. There is also a YJTB one in VA Beach. It's also a travel bug. (and yes, it is on a yellow jeep ) Another related question is-do any local groups have a special state tag yet? You need 300 sigs on the petition to get one in NC. ?for the OP? Jamie-I heard a comedian on the radio this morning driving to work that made me think of you. He asked " Do they have Fire Drills in China? If so what do they do?" Edited November 17, 2005 by wimseyguy Quote

+Tharagleb Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 NFA: or TSLNSL /seriously... I would jump at TNLNSL, the only problem with a having a plate like that is that it will upset people driving behind you who (like me) hate it when they can't figure out a personalized plate. Quote
+nfa Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I think I like CACHE NY the best, followed by TNLNSL, although... would be sorta fun... jamie Quote
+mtn-man Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I'll give you another vote for CACHE NY. Second choice is NYCACHER. Quote

It's easy to figure out that it's associated with geocaching if you Google it! But as for the meaning, someone would have to do a little more searching. A search for "geoaching acronyms" would do it. Yeah, plates I can't figure out bug me, too Quote
