I'm sure your wondering how the October contest photo, FROGS being T-O-A-D, was done. Well, it wasn't easy. Here are some of the earlier takes that were not chosen for the contest.

Thanks, As you can see, we had alot of fun with this. We did all kinds of funny picture stuff with this frog. He's quite the character. I love making my daughters laugh. They were real happy we could share some of it with all of you.

I hope everyone that entered the Jeep contest had as much fun as I did.

It was great finding the geocaches, joining with the family to come up with ideas for photos and of course just getting downright silly. The voting part of the contest is just about up. I wish the best of luck to all of you!

That is hilarious. I must say, though, I saw the first image and thought, "uh oh...where is this going?"

That was kind of the idea. The big frog is so flexible and takes on so many expressions you can't help but laugh when handling it. The kids were kind of sad when we were taking down the set-up. Thats when the goofin around and the idea for more pictures happened. They were even more happy when we figured out how to post it all. Unfortunately they want to do more.

Thanks for looking!

My daughter (6) wants to know if we can make the frog into a travel bug itself, with a mission to get it's picture on a real parasail somewhere. How do you do this?

I noticed the fishing line in this picture. I did not actually look close on the WJTB entry. Very great story line you have there.

You can get a TB tag from http://shop.Groundspeak.com and then launch the toad.

Have fun!

I was kind of worried after I saw the picture. It almost looks like a cut and paste.

It was crazy trying to get all those fishing lines in place. It was much more fun doing the follow-up photos in this post.

All of these are great. We can't wait for their next adventure. :D

The next one is in the works. It's going to have alot more humor. So keep watching. For anyone looking for the first time, don't miss the other post that's listed.

So, do these frogs have names? Are they maybe some distant relations of Signal's? I think it'd be cool to pin a topic with their pictorial adventures so we can all keep up with the latest.

Those are some mighty creative pictures! Love 'em!

I'm merging these two TOAD threads, same topic. Let's keep the rfurther adventures to one thread, shall we? It'll take forever for dial ups to upload the pics, so when replying using the quote feature, please try not to include a second copy of the picture and a third, fourth, fifth and so on. You can edit out the photo link in the quote. Thanks!

The names of the frogs that we use around the house is Dupie (The big fat frog) and Dooie (The shinny one).

Thankyou so much for all your kind comments.

My daughters are very excited about winning the GPS, However, I think they are more excited about posting the next adventure.

Any other ideas or comments are welcome.

As a note, this Jeep contest exposed me to your sport. (I saw the ad in a biking magazine). and we just love it. It is a great family activity that combines adventure and fun. We still have some learning to do but we're getting there.

Thanks Again,

Mark, Chris, Mandalynn and Autumn

Excellent!!

I was just told that the site for the second set of pictures was my 100th find. I had to go back and check; yep, it is!

My 11 y.o. son and I laughed at these photos when I showed them to him. Great stuff!

Dupie and Dooie are back for the 2006 contest. The photo just got posted. A lot of good pictures were submitted already.

I think I like the 06 photo better than last years.
