+iBrew
Anyone have any opinions on this? When I buy extra coins for trade should I get the activation code once I receive the coins or should I just tell the person I'm trading with what site to retrieve the activation code from? +Prairiepartners
I've been getting them and putting them with the coin so it makes it easier on them. Quote Link to comment

I was thinking, what if I don't trade the coin for 6 months or a year and the site is no longer active by then? Windrose Quote Link to comment
+Cache-Hounds
Interesting.... I hadn't really thought about doing this, but maybe I'll start. Quote Link to comment
+junglehair
I haven't done it yet, but I also wondered if it would be a good idea. Thanks for posting the question. Quote Link to comment
+AZPAUL
I also have been doing it that way. I think it makes it easier, also. I can send the activation code with the coin. Edited November 12, 2005 by AZPAUL Quote Link to comment

I was also concerned that by getting the activation code that somehow I'd be recognized as the "original" owner of the coin (being that they usually ask for an email), which may be detrimental to a potential trade. No, you don't have to worry about that. Getting the activation code is seperate from registering (or activating) the coin on gc.com. Having the coin buyers send an email for the activation code is just a way for the coin seller to not have to match up & place all those little stickers on the coin sleeves. Much easier for everyone.
