Simply Paul
Thinking about it, I so want to put a cache on Sealand, it would rule. You would have to get onto it first. I don't see any bushes or rocks to hide the cache under though? I bet everyone thought the Vatican was the smallest country in the world. As featured on Danny Wallace's 'How to start your own Country' series on the BBC. Perfect place for a magnetic micro in the guise of a rusty bolt, I'd say. SP Quote Link to comment
Learned Gerbil
We can always have a Vexillology thread pinned to the top of the forum for people who need to discuss flags so they can leave room for all the congrats. What do you think? Quote Link to comment
The Bongtwashes
Of course, nobody mentions the The Flag of St Piran , the flag of The Independent Peoples Republic of Kernow! Quote Link to comment
Renegade Knight
After reading this I'm glad I lump everthing under "UK" and call the regions by name. I loved the comment about how some people feel Scottish, English etc, but not UKish. That summed it up. It also explains why so many Americans are bad at geography. They couldn't figure it out there, so they came over here. Quote Link to comment
Birdman-of-liskatraz
The Flag of St Piran - Simple - works either way up correctly.... Great bit of design... So good the Devonians have nicked it and added extra green bits and claimed it as their own.... Quote Link to comment
The Blorenges
....(Later, much later...) Is this thread still flapping in the wind? You folks who are really good at the computer graphics thingies...Why don't you go and start a thread on a good original design for a Geocaching flag? ...I would try, but I think I'm going to bed Mrs B Quote Link to comment
Learned Gerbil
Of course, nobody mentions the The Flag of St Piran , the flag of The Independent Peoples Republic of Kernow! What do you mean nobody mentions it? As faras I can see about 25% of cars in South London display it - those are the ones without Polish number plates and Jamaican flags. Quote Link to comment
markandlynn
More info on sealand here it seems to be OK because no one has bothered to prosecute them yet. Quote Link to comment

Satellite Kid
I say the same thing about women... All women are beautiful....but some are more beautiful than others. I think this is a bastardisation of a quote from a certain pig called Napolean who bastardised it from a quote by a certain Marx brother?!? But I prefer mine! Quote Link to comment

Birdman-of-liskatraz
II understand it's Cornish, Welsh and Breton that are closely related... and Manx, Gaelic and Irish are closely related to each other... +Learned Gerbil
I like to think I am well informed about local history, but Surrey's Cornish connections were a big surprise.
