+Slammer180 Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I've been trying to order 2 coins but I get a message that web site not responding when trying to register. ???? Quote
+hydnsek Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 So....nice that the coins are $4, but I'm confused by the shipping fees. Shipping was $1.52, ok, but there's also a $2 handling fee - what's THAT for? In short, I was being asked to pay $3.52 to mail me 3 coins - that's a tad excessive. No one else seems to have a problem with it, but I'll pass for now and hope for a trade. Quote
+Go JayBee Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Ordered 10 coins....that spread the shipping & handling charges very nicely. Quote

The handling fee I believe is what the website doing the distribution gets for holding the presale and handling the order fufillment process. I know we were told about the handling fee upfront. So I think that's why no one has complained. Quote

Leaves more for the rest of us... Quote
+dmnrec Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 paypaled for one...whenever I feel guilty about buying another coin, I just think about the pack of cigarettes my husband bought yesterday, today, and probably tomorrow...at least the coins won't give me cancer! Quote
+Go JayBee Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Did I get my order in on time? Are they made yet? Are mine in the mail? I think the next GAA Coin should be in the shape of a pacifier...you could shove it in your mouth whenever you get that urge to buy more coins...... Quote

So I think that's why no one has complained. Yes, I remember that. For some reason, I thought it included shipping. $3.52 s&h for a $4 coin was just a tad rich for me.....but good that the coins are so inexpensive in this age of $8 coins! And yes, amazing that you get them in color for that price! Quote
+hydnsek Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 You mean websites and people's time are not free? So true! I should start charging my coin club members for all the hours I spend organizing, buying, shipping, maintaining accounts, etc. Thanks for the tip! Quote

It also helps that the coins are so inexpensive. Quote
+Shilo Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I finally got in for 3. Had an issue using Netscape v8. I used v 7.2 and the order went right through. Coins look good also Shilo Quote
+TeamHopewell Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Just paid for four via PayPal. Thanks Quote
