Roving Rangies
I am in the process of designing a 200 mile long indestructable bugee cord! No way are our toys going or staying out of Wiltshire! Come on fellow Moonrakers....we must fight back! Quote Link to comment
Gralorn
That's it 'It's Out'!! as soon as the cache has been approved the game is on to get one's hands upon a White Jeep. Be warned Gowenhouse is going for an FTF !!! so he'll be sitting waiting in front of his PC for notification of a new cache. Incidentally this cache is in the middle of an excellent cluster of caches, of all types, a haven for geocachers, especially in the summer months. Right well lets hope it stays with a Moonraker this time. Good Luck. I'll be watching! Quote Link to comment
Gowenhouse
Car is full of petrol, Garmin at the ready, flask made up etc etc. Tis a bit chilly though. Have to see what the weather is doing tomorrow. Quote Link to comment

Gowenhouse
Congratulations to Doctor Scotland who has found at least 2 of our new icons. P.S. Sat in my car ready but white jeep still not active. What are Eck and Lact up to ??? Putting up decorations? Xmas shopping? Work dinners? Quote Link to comment
Gowenhouse
And we are GO GO GO !!!!! Actually I am in two minds whether to attempt this today as I had my wifes Xmas dinner bash last night and am a little worse for wear. But, what the hell, lets keep the jeep in Wiltshire and beat those Devon boys. Quote Link to comment
Stuey
A couple of us are off to Dartmoor today (honest), so it's all yours Quote Link to comment
Gowenhouse
Thankyou Stuey. Just found the blighter with a joint FTF with Valliant Knight. Great meeting up with another cacher and putting a face to a name. The jeep is staying in the area. Quote Link to comment
The Gecko's
Picked up Orson this morning from Swansea and will let him loose again on Sunday so this one is staying in Wales for a little while longer Dave - The Gecko's Quote Link to comment
Gralorn
Excellent the White Jeep is still in the area and not down in Cornwall or up in Scotland, my congratulations to Gowenhouse and Valiant Knight on the team effort for the last part to claim the Jeep. Doesn't that armour get rusty in this weather? So where's the next Jeep, bring it on !! Quote Link to comment
Molinnis
Well after a well attended Cornish Xmas meet with the added bonus of a new cache with White Jeep "Preston" in coming live today. We have all returned home to find Janpe had found it 6 days ago using Google earth to find the rough position and a meticulous search at ground level to find the cache. He then waited 6 days for the cache to go live and log it. Classic!! Edited December 11, 2005 by The Molinnis Crew Quote Link to comment

Gralorn
Your profile gives the location away Chaotica UK !! a bit of a spoiler really, me and Dr Holmes looked at your complete profile and gallery and worked out that its near a bridge, in the vicinity of a cave and a know it all cacher must be standing on the far bank!!! I thnk we are having two conversations here, my pictures refer to Lenas' toy box, if you want to go and visit that then best of luck (its a stinker) however the white jeep wasnt in that and I believe that Dr Scotland has it in his possession at the moment following a successful visit to a cache in Wick earlier today. +Simply Paul
'Dropped off' a rare virtual white jeep tonight. If you like such things, my profile and found caches will tell you where it is. Grab it while it still exists (or fails to - you know what I mean!) Quote Link to comment

Stuey
Stuey. Help me keep this link going. I love it. P.S. May send you another coin in the New Year. Oh no probs... this thread will run and run, as long as people are interested in the jeeps. I still have one here which I am hoping to set free in a new devious cache, and I am still hoping to intercept one "fair and square" one day too Coins are good too. In fact, I just missed a local IOWA coin by 24 hours... d'oh! Christmas shopping eh? Fancy that getting a higher priority than a geocoin! Quote Link to comment
Gralorn
To keep this theme going, which incidentally is doing very well up to now, we need Jeeps to hide, even yellow ones I suppose. So who out there is just sitting admiring 'White Jeeps' on their shelves? Get them out and about so as they can be found and moved on........................ please! A 5/5 would be a challenge, I'll just wait until a 2/2 comes along. Quote Link to comment
Birdman-of-liskatraz
Yeaaaa.. I have a white jeep icon now.. now I want a Yellow one..... Just waiting for the local one to be put in a cache... Quote Link to comment
The Royles
So who out there is just sitting admiring 'White Jeeps' on their shelves? I suppose I am Problem is I have been busy since picking it up, so no caching. While I am here, I am in Scotland from now till new year. Do people think I should keep hold of the jeep until I get back, as I want to keep it in Wales for now, or should I let it go asap, even if it is not in a place I want to let it loose in ? Quote Link to comment
Stuey
I say place it where you like. These Jeeps don't have "owners" as such, so I think you are less likely to offend anyone if you hang on to it for longer than say a regular TB owned by a fellow cacher. +Stuey
and the other one isn't there... shame , but thanks for finding it Quote Link to comment
Gowenhouse
Wonder what would show on the listing page if a yellow one and a white one were in the same cache. Like more than 1 coin now shows as a pile of coins. Would more than 1 jeep show as a pile up?? Thats a new challenge for someone. Put a yellow and a white one in together. Quote Link to comment
rutson
Happened several times at events, they show up next to each other Quote Link to comment

Stuey
I have it on very good authority that another White Jeep will be in Devon very very soon! Where will it end up? Who knows Quote Link to comment
Bud Lightbeer
Might have had my sticky paws on one today which has been smuggled back across the Tamar and is now with a tired but very satisfied 500'er in Devon . I know where I would like to see it next, but you will all have to wait and see where Mr Hancock hides it!! Quote Link to comment

doctor scotland
depending on approval for a new cache, or on my cache partner to drive me, or if i can prise it out of my daughters hands - the jeep will be moving soon! better to keep it for a good one though i think, and keep everyone in suspense! havent found a cache big enough lately to take it - well i have, but i'd left it at home by accident! but dont tell no-one! soon those wheels will be rollin tho! +The Great Redmondo
We have the 'Esmond' white Jeep with us. Its had a relaxing Christmas (a little too relaxed if you ask me, tyres are looking well squashed). Despite feeling pretty happy with ourselves for resuing it from the 'Highs and Lows of Sidmouth', we really feel it is time to release into a cache worthy of this iconic trophy. We have been eyeing up a location in the Taunton area that is 5/4 and will deposit some time in the next few weeks once our daughter has fully recovered. Ladies and Gentlemen, watch this space... +Kitty Hawk
Yeah, I'm in the same boat, I've got a jeep that is going to be in a cache that I am planning, but my plans seem to take be being slowed down by work. Soon it'll be out. Quote Link to comment
