I will need at least 2 of the regulars, WHat is the cost? How many will be minted? What company? When will they ship? How big will they be? How do you intend to sell them? Is my name on the list? Is there a waitlist?

+AtlantaGal Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Haha, so what DOES Steal Your Face mean, anyway? Maybe I don't get it because I'm not that much of a dead head. Well, it's the title of one of their albums. The cover of this album features artwork by Stanley Owsley -- the grinning skull and lightning bolt inside the circle. This image has since been identified primarily as the "steal your face" logo. Of course the SYF coin is only fan art based on the real image
+pdxmarathonman Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I had emailed the pdxmarathonman coin issue quantities, but they are not in the list pdxmarathonman geocoins: Polished Gold - 250 Polished Nickel - 40 Antique Gold - 10
SCP-173 Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 I had emailed the pdxmarathonman coin issue quantities, but they are not in the list Unless the subject of the email was the same as in the email link on the page of numbers I may have missed it. I just use gmails search function to bring up everything I've gotten titled "Number of a coin minted". I thought I had included all of the other emails, but I'm not perfect. Posting the quantities right in this thread is the best way to do it, since there no way I could end up losing it.

+AtlantaGal Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 It was a full-blown stick of TNT until I shrunk it to be almost-to-scale Gives a whole new meaning to "start the new year off with a bang!" LOL

YemonYime Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Well, it's the title of one of their albums. The cover of this album features artwork by Stanley Owsley -- the grinning skull and lightning bolt inside the circle. This image has since been identified primarily as the "steal your face" logo. Two "Steal Your Face" Coins: $20. Reviving the memory of dancing barefoot in a puddle of gawd-knows-what for three hours at a Dead concert: Priceless. SCP-173 Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 What do people think about these bonuses the mint throws in? Are they really worth putting on the list? It's not like they're going to be traded or anything. My 1 gold Vargseld coin is on the list right now, but really who cares besides me?
+AtlantaGal Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I think you should have them for now. Some will be traded and it helps anyone to know how many were made when looking for a trade. Example RCGDS comes in a brass and gold. I started to look for trades until I realized there were only 5 brass and 2 gold or something like that.
