+Rocky Balboa
I was just checking out one of my caches under Pids name and read what we had made the starting contents. I must add that this was a long time ago and adding food/drinks wasn't really frowned apon but still... The cache contains/ed: A Tim and June Teddy that really needs rescuing! A spooky Gnome 2 packets of Cola sweets 3 Lollipops 2 Orange Cartons Some Tissues for Hayfever sufferers And a ketchup sachet Tut tut tut Dan & Pid. Has anyone else ever found a cache stuffed with food stuff or something really naughty??? Quote Link to comment

Ask The House of Boo what they found near (not in - it's a micro) my Ridgeway Run - X Marks the Spot cache the other day. It turned into XXX Marks the Spot! SP Quote Link to comment

+woZere
Not in a cache but in a whilst out night caching in a park we lifted a nearby stone and found a night entertainment kit? With variuos male figures in the vicinity lurking in shadows we made a sharp exit and glad to log DNF. Quote Link to comment
+Teasel
I once found a miniature of gin in a rather dodgy cache near Bracknell. I'm sure the reviewers would disapprove, but it was a welcome change from the usual McTat! But the most welcome treat I found was a packet of wine gums I found in "Egg on Your Face" at 2 in the morning after an unexpectedly long search! Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
I once found a miniature of gin ..... and we found a port miniature in one here in Wales - It was very nice! Went into our Christmas cake, as I recall..... Mrs B Quote Link to comment

+Omally
In one cache somewhere up Luton way (yes, found in the company of the other Grockles) we found a little plastic zip-loc bag containing a cigarette, a slightly over-sized rolling paper, a tiny rolled-up bit of cardboard and something that looked like a rather small oxo cube. Oh, and a note in the bag saying something along the lines of "here's a little present for whoever finds this box". I'm sure it must have been left by a non-cacher. Anyway, no idea what that's all about... *ahem* Edited October 27, 2005 by Omally Quote Link to comment
Ben Pid
LoL@Omally...you could have made it the highest cache in Britain! lol - I'd have smoked it. The origanl post by Dan though.....deary me, bless our ignorance. Quote Link to comment

+Bud Lightbeer
I found a packet of Paracetemol in 'Here Be Goldfish'. Probably left with the best of intentions, but they weren't even in a kiddie cacher proof packet. Anyway, apart from Ben Pid, would anyone really use drugs found in a cache!! Helen in Mustardland
.... apart from Ben Pid, would anyone really use drugs found in a cache!! Bud Mm, can't say I would. Anyway, knowing my luck the oxo-cubelike substance mentioned above would probably turn out to be an oxo cube! Quote Link to comment

+sTeamTraen
A couple of local (Freiburg-area) cachers have liquid signature items. One (Doomritterbande) leaves a bottle of some kind of Unterberg-like herb bitter schnappsy-liqueur stuff. Another leaves miniatures of Tamagotchi aftershave. At least one log I've seen says "took Doomritter's bottle, drank contents, had to check it wasn't the aftershave". Also, condoms (unused, in my experience so far) occasionally turn up in caches in Germany. And I've found a mildly pornographic PC game on diskette. However, this is the Continent, so we take these things in our stride. Quote Link to comment

+davy boy
Whilst on hols caching in Wales we had walked to the top of a very steep hill to find a cache on a very hot day,by the time we had got to the top we were out of drink and food.On finding the cache lo and behold there was a packet of wine gums and a bottle of sparkling mineral water, the gods must have been looking over us!!!! Another time we were caching up in Wales and on three different caches we found identical penknives, tut tut!! Quote Link to comment

However I did decide better of it seeing as the visitors were likely to be with children. :P Not sure what the problem is here. I've never seen condoms with great big letters on the packet telling all and sundry what they're for. Small kids think they're balloons ("dead good ones too, Dad, you can get *gallons* of water in there") and kids old enough to know what they are (that would be at about age 7, I guess ), well, they know what they are. When people throw flour-filled ones at MPs, the 6 o'clock news is full of them (as it were). Or were you trying to spare parental blushes ? Quote Link to comment
+Birdman-of-liskatraz
I think I'd be very wary of any drugs/medicines/food that I found in a cache... and if I was in the market for condoms then I think I'd want a "Trustworthy" supplier!! If that makes any sense... Quote Link to comment
